‘Asgard’s Wrath 2’ Swarms With Parasites in ‘Bloodsuckers,’ its Third Cosmic Event
A plague threatens Egypt. No, not locusts or hail or frogs. This time it’s vampiric hordes bent on destroying all existence. You’re the only one that can slow the destruction as Asgard’s Wrath 2 (winner of the D.I.C.E. Award for Immersive Reality Game of the Year and numerous other awards) launches into its third Cosmic Event, the ominously titled Bloodsuckers.
The source of this existential threat? Poor Tanuu. After solving Tanuu’s celestial stomach problems, the parasites you purged evolved into an all-consuming swarm and have infested everything from the Duat to Muspelheim. You must hunt and exterminate the bloodthirsty menace before there’s nothing left to bleed.
Earn unique rewards by knocking out Cosmic Objectives and Conquests during the Bloodsuckers event, including:
- Cleanse the parasites from an infested Egyptian monster den.
- Defeat 50 enemies at the Pillars of Neith.
- Locate and destroy 10 ghost parasites in the Duat.
- Track and hunt the Deathstalker Host to prevent parasites in the Papyrus Swamp.
- Destroy Tanuu parasite eggs to prevent them from overrunning the multiverse.
Overcome the parasite infestation and you can earn weapons and armor inspired by the Irish pantheon, including the lucky Adh Mor Sword, Axe, and Shield set, the Helm of the Leprechaun King and corresponding armor, and a full set of armor blessed by the world tree itself, Yggdrasil.
Pests threaten our reality as well. The Bloodsucker event also brings new Loki Anomalies to Asgard’s Wrath 2, including Scorpion Tamer—a new MR challenge that sees the world threatened by hordes of scorpions bent on conquering the multiverse.
