Today, nDreams revealed their next epic action-adventure VR game named Reach. In this new experience players will climb, jump, and fling with supreme fluidity powered by an innovative full-body physics and gesture control system. Reach is a single-player adventure with an expansive narrative campaign driven by player choices and agency.

Reach brings classic action-adventure gameplay into VR, including exploration, puzzles, and combat, but with complete freedom of how players interact with the world. In combat for example, you have the ability to use a varied arsenal of weapons and tools in a multitude of ways, whether you’re facing enemies head-on or outmanoeuvring them with ranged strikes and stealth takedowns, every encounter rewards your skill and creativity.

You might recall the name nDreams, as they’re one of VR’s most experienced and accomplished studios with titles like Phantom: Covert Ops, Vendetta Forever, Frenzies, Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord, and many more. We can’t wait to see what Reach is like once we get the chance to try it out for ourselves.

Reach is gearing up to offer an unprecedented amount of freedom and player control with its unparalleled movement system, offering true full body presence like never before. Every action you take and surface in the environment will react naturally to your virtual body’s presence inside the space giving a true 1:1 feeling for all of your movements. This is all thanks to nDreams’ new nTeract 2™ technology.

In Reach, players will forge their own path across enormous, breathtaking environments using gesture-driven free movement so they can run, jump, and climb wherever they want to go. This is the kind of VR game you’ll be drawn to play when you’re craving that sense of breathless excitement and larger-than-life adventure that elevates the medium when you experience it for yourself.

nDreams has been working away on Reach for a while now and it’s shaping up to be one of the biggest new VR games to hit the Meta Quest later this year. You can wishlist the game on the Meta Horizon Store starting today!
