New Trailer + Release Date for ‘Star Wars: Beyond Victory - A Mixed Reality Playset’ from ILM

“This experience is designed to celebrate storytelling, action, imagination, and everything we love about Star Wars,” says Director Jose Perez III. “We wanted to give players a new way to step inside the galaxy and make it their own.”
In addition to the release date, ILM and Lucasfilm shared new details of the all-star cast, which includes Fin Argus (Queer as Folk), Greg Proops (Whose Line Is It Anyway?), Lilimar Hernandez (Inside Out 2), Lewis MacLeod (Star Wars: Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace), Bobby Moynihan (Saturday Night Live), and more, adding depth, humor, and heart to the experience. Together, they infuse Beyond Victory with the energy, charm and emotion that make Star Wars stories unforgettable.
Developed exclusively for Meta Quest 3 and 3S, Beyond Victory includes three distinct modes to suit a variety of playstyles:
- Adventure: A new Star Wars story awaits! Step inside the shoes of Volo Bolus, an ambitious pilot mentored by none other than podracing legend Sebulba. Through both fully immersive scenes and moments that blur the line between the virtual and physical, this is a bold new perspective on the Star Wars canon.
- Arcade: Transform your physical space into a holotable-style racing arena where high-speed podraces are controlled from a birds-eye view. Each track features multiple paths to the finish line, while power-ups provide fast, replayable fun for fans of classic arcade gameplay.
- Playset: Unleash your creativity in a dynamic sandbox. Fans can populate their physical environment with unlockable digital action figures, including vehicles and iconic characters, to stage their own Star Wars stories.
