Meta Horizon+ Adds XBOX Game Pass

We’re teaming up with XBOX again, this time bringing a starter edition of XBOX Game Pass to Meta Horizon+*, adding a library of 50+ games you can play right on your headset.  

With the starter edition of XBOX Game Pass** you’ll get 10 hours of cloud gaming each month, so you can stream select games right away — no download required. Team up with your friends or battle it out with other players using cloud and PC multiplayer, and you can even download titles from the library for unlimited play. And your progress goes with you, whether you’re playing on XBOX console, PC, Meta Quest headset, or other supported devices. Plus, you earn Rewards with XBOX just for playing.

For years, Meta and XBOX have teamed up to make it easy to experience games anywhere — especially on a big screen. Choose from four different display sizes, including a theater-size screen of up to 26 feet. You can play in an XBOX-themed immersive space that cuts back on distractions so you can dial in, or place the virtual screen right in your room.

The starter edition Game Pass library is packed with titles ranging from AAA hits to indie favorites, including post-apocalyptic open-world RPGs Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 from Bethesda Softworks; Ghost Town Games’ chaotic cooperative cooking game Overcooked 2; Obsidian Entertainment’s survival game Grounded, where shrunken kids explore an oversized backyard; the brutal multiplayer zombie title DayZ from Bohemia Interactive; cooperative first-person shooter Deep Rock Galactic, where you form a band of dwarven space miners; and truck simulator SnowRunner, which challenges you to drive powerful machines across extreme environments.

And soon you can use your Meta Quest Touch controllers to emulate an XBOX gamepad. Rolling out in the coming weeks, the gamepad emulator maps your Meta Quest Touch controllers to function like an XBOX controller, so you can jump into Game Pass games right away. Try XBOX games without pairing a gamepad. Already have a gamepad? Simply pair it to your headset for a traditional controller experience.
