Discover the Wolpa Great Synagogue, a masterpiece of the rich Jewish heritage of present-day Belarus. Renowned as one of the most beautiful wooden synagogues of the former Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, it was completely destroyed during World War II. However, you now have the chance to visit it virtually! Inside the Virtual Experience: Free Navigation Mode: Explore the synagogue at your own pace. Admire the exterior and interior architecture, detailed decorations, and restored paintings. Use the magnifying glass to examine artwork up close. Switch between two interior views – before and after the interwar renovation. Also, experience a 360° view of the present-day location where the Wolpa synagogue once stood. Guided Tour: Take a curated tour with an audio guide available in English, Russian, and French. Follow a set route to learn about the synagogue's history and significance. Immerse yourself in this meticulously recreated virtual space, crafted by a dedicated team of curators, historians, restorers, and digital artists. This is not just a tour; it's a journey back in time, offering a unique and profound insight into a significant part of Jewish history.
