Package AI glasses for returns

Note: Only use the original microfibre cleaning cloth provided with your product. Never use a substitute cleaning cloth.

  1. Use the original microfibre cloth that came with your AI glasses and lay it over the charging connector inside the case.

  2. Place the glasses into the case on top of the microfibre cloth. This will prevent the glasses from charging and powering on while in transit. If the case LED turns on while placing the glasses inside, re-adjust the microfibre cloth to ensure that it fully covers the charging contacts, then try again.

    Note: The case LED will always turn on when opening or closing the case.

  3. Close the glasses case completely, ensuring that there are no gaps.

  4. Place the charging case into the product box and close.

  5. Place the product box into the original delivery box that it came in. If you no longer have it, use a similar size box. Include protective cushioning material, such as bubble wrap, crumpled newspaper or packaging peanuts to prevent damage.

  6. Seal the box with adhesive tape.

  7. Make sure that the UN3481 lithium battery mark affixed to the original delivery box has not been torn, marked or otherwise obstructed in any way.

    Note: If there is an issue with the lithium battery label, please print and apply a new one using the UN3481 label provided in the return email (do not resize it).

  8. Apply the pre-paid delivery label provided by Meta to the delivery box.

Prepare bubble wrap for packaging

When packaging AI glasses for return, we recommend using a piece of bubble wrap that is at least 35" long and 12" wide. This will ensure that your glasses are wrapped in at least 3" of bubble wrap on all sides to protect them during transit.

  1. Place glasses on bubble wrap towards the bottom and wrap bubble wrap around the glasses as shown.

  2. Once the glasses have been completely wrapped, fold in the sides of the bubble wrap as shown and secure with tape.

  3. Place glasses in a sturdy box and use fillers such as bubble wrap, packing peanuts or crumpled newspaper to prevent movement during delivery.
  4. Seal the box using packaging tape and affix the delivery label provided by Meta to the outside of the box. Proceed with return delivery.
