Learn about Meta Warranty Plus protection for Ray-Ban Meta glasses
Warranty Plus is an extended service contract that provides up to two years of enhanced protection for your eligible Meta smart glasses. It covers accidental damage, cosmetic issues and product malfunctions beyond the standard warranty.
Which products are covered?
Warranty Plus is available for the following products purchased in the US via meta.com:
- Ray-Ban Meta Gen 1
- Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2
- Ray-Ban Meta Display
- Oakley Meta HSTN
- Oakley Meta Vanguard
Important: Warranty Plus doesn't cover limited edition or prescription glasses, with the exception of Ray-Ban Meta Display models. Warranty Plus must be purchased at the time of device purchase or, for Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses, after activation via the QR code in the packaging.
What does Meta Warranty Plus cover?
Warranty Plus provides comprehensive coverage, including:
- Product malfunction and manufacturing defects
- Accidental damage (drops, spills, impacts)
- Scratched or chipped lenses or frames
- Cosmetic damage (including normal wear and tear)
- All in-box accessories, including the case

How to purchase Meta Warranty Plus
- At checkout: Add Warranty Plus when purchasing eligible glasses on meta.com.
- For Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses: Add Warranty Plus after device activation by scanning the QR code in the packaging or visiting theWarranty Plus page. You will need your device’s serial number.
- Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email with programme details and terms.
How to make a claim
Year 1:
- Product malfunction claims: Handled by Luxottica (Ray-Ban/Oakley manufacturer) or Meta (Ray-Ban Meta Display).
- Accidental damage claims: Handled by Meta.
Year 2:
- All claims (malfunction, accidental, cosmetic): Handled by Meta, with a deductible for accidental/cosmetic damage.
To submit a claim:
- If your device is covered by Warranty Plus, contact Meta Store Support.
- Have your device details and proof of purchase ready.
Exclusions and cancellation
- Warranty Plus does not cover damage from misuse, neglect or normal wear and tear beyond cosmetic limits.
- You may cancel your Warranty Plus policy for a full refund within 30 days of purchase, provided no claims have been filed. (This period is extended to 60 days for California residents.)
- After the initial period, you can still cancel your Warranty Plus policy for a pro-rata refund at any time, as long as no claims have been filed.
