How to set up a Meta Account for AI glasses

We’re gradually updating Accounts Center, which will enable your Meta Account to work across more products, if you choose. You may see either Accounts Center or Meta Account settings as the place to manage your settings. Learn more about updated Meta Accounts.

You need a Meta Account to use your AI glasses. If you already have a Meta Account, you can enter your login details to use your device. If you don't have a Meta Account, you can set one up with your email address, Instagram or Facebook.

To set up a Meta Account:

Open the Meta AI mobile app on your mobile phone and follow the instructions that appear.

How to set up a new Meta Account with email

To set up a Meta Account with your email address, you need to provide:

Email address: You can only create one Meta Account per email address.
First name and surname: Use your real name if you need to recover your account or manage your store purchases, but it's not required.
Date of birth: You need to be at least 13 years old to create a Meta Account in most regions. This information helps provide age-appropriate experiences.
Password: This must be at least eight characters long. Avoid passwords that someone could guess.

After you've set up your Meta Account, you can add or remove this account from the same Accounts Centre or Meta Account as your Facebook and Instagram at any time.

How to set up a new Meta Account with Facebook or Instagram

When you create a Meta Account with Facebook or Instagram, your Meta Account will be added to the same Accounts Centre or Meta Account as your Facebook or Instagram. You can always choose to remove accounts from the same Accounts Centre or Meta Account.

Visit the Instagram Help Centre or Facebook Help Centre if you can't log in to those accounts.
