How to write successful image prompts
When writing a prompt for Meta AI, it's best to be detailed about what you'd like to see. You can add details about what the scene should be, what should be in that scene, what kind of style it should look like and more. Try to include specific directions when writing your prompt.
Let's examine how adding details to a prompt will change how Meta AI generates your images and videos.
Example prompt: Imagine a polar bear at a pool.
Example prompt: Imagine a polar bear hanging out at a pool.
In these examples, very little changes between the two prompts. Meta AI needs more specific direction to generate a difference. Let's add more to the prompt.
Example prompt: Imagine a polar bear relaxing in a deck chair next to a pool.
Now that Meta AI has a specific direction, it can begin generating images to better suit what you want. Let's refine this idea further by adding a specific visual style and some extra background details.
Example prompt: Imagine a polar bear relaxing in a deck chair next to a pool. Other polar bears are walking around the pool. Some bears are playing in the pool, some are chatting with other bears or relaxing. Use a style such as early 2000s 3D animation.
When you write detailed prompts, Meta AI will have more information to generate images for you.
These same techniques also lead to higher-quality results when you turn an image into a video using Meta AI. By adding details to your prompt, you can get better results.
Note: You must use an image to generate a video. You can't generate a video from a text-only prompt.
