Shop with external businesses by connecting your accounts to Facebook or Instagram

Updated:4 weeks ago

For a more streamlined shopping experience from an ad on Facebook and Instagram, you can choose to connect external accounts from certain businesses. This opt-in experience may allow you to browse products and add to e-commerce carts on selected product ads in Facebook and Instagram. You may also be able to check out with these businesses in a streamlined way and experience more relevant ads.

Your choice to connect these accounts may affect your Activity from other businesses setting on Meta, by creating an exception for these businesses. That means that we may use information that these businesses send us about your activity on their apps or websites, or your offline interactions with them (such as in-store purchases) to show you more relevant ads.

This account connection is voluntary, and you can choose to disconnect these accounts at any time in Accounts Centre.
