About the Meta Quest Referral programme

If you have a Meta Quest device, you can invite a friend to purchase their own Meta Quest 3 or Meta Quest 3S. Once your friend has purchased and activated their new Meta Quest device, both of you will receive USD 30 in promotional Quest cash.

You must log in to your headset using your Meta account to send a referral link.

To send a referral link:

  1. Open the Meta Horizon app on your phone.
  2. Tap your avatar picture at the bottom, then tap Menu in the top right.
  3. Swipe down and tap Referrals below Payment and subscriptions.
  4. Tap Copy to copy your unique referral link, then share it with a friend on the platform of your choice or tap Share to select from sharing options on your device. If your Meta account and Facebook account are in the same Accounts Centre, you can also tap Send next to one of your friends below Suggested referrals to send your unique referral link on Messenger.
    • You can find more friends from your Messenger contacts by tapping Search for people, then entering the name of a Messenger contact.
  5. Your friend will receive a link to purchase a Meta Quest device (Meta Quest 3 or Meta Quest 3S). You and your friend will each receive USD 30 in promotional Quest cash when they activate their new Meta Quest device.

To redeem a referral link:

  1. Click the referral link that your friend sent. Create a new Meta account or log in.
  2. Purchase your Meta Quest 3 or Meta Quest 3S from any retailer. You and your friend who referred you will receive USD 30 in promotional Quest cash once you've activated your new headset.

You should receive your referral credit immediately after activating your headset.

To redeem your referral credit:

  1. Tap your avatar picture at the bottom, then tap Menu in the top right.
  2. Swipe down and tap Referrals below Payment and subscriptions.
  3. Tap Device referrals and redeem your available device referral credits.

Notes:

  • The friend that you refer must be a new Meta Quest user and must create a new account in order to receive the credit.
  • Users can earn a maximum of USD 599 in promotional Quest cash per year from the Meta Quest Referral programme. This limit applies to rewards earned through both the Meta Quest referral programme and app referrals combined.
