Redeem a coupon code or gift card for the Meta Horizon Store

You can redeem a coupon code or gift card for the Meta Horizon Store on this page, the Meta Horizon mobile app or Meta.com.

To redeem a coupon code or gift card:

  1. Open the Meta Horizon mobile app on your phone.
  2. Tap Menu at the top of your Horizon Feed.
  3. Scroll down to Payment and subscriptions, then tap Redeem store code.
  4. Enter the code and tap Submit.

If you're having trouble with sending or redeeming a gift card on the app, make sure that your software is up to date. You can also try restarting the app.

If you redeem a gift card, your Wallet will contain your gift card balance. You can use the balance to purchase apps and experiences on the Meta Horizon Store.

If your gift card is for a specific game, the game is now in your library.

About coupon codes and gift cards

Coupon codes

Coupon codes are sometimes used for Quest cash, or for specific apps or games in the Meta Horizon Store.

Gift cards

Gift cards can be digital or physical cards that you purchase from Meta or selected retailers.

Gift cards can only be redeemed once and are redeemable by anyone who has access to them. See the Terms and Conditions. If you send a gift to the wrong email address and need to cancel it, please contact the original vendor.

If your gift card is for purchasing a specific game, it can only be redeemed for that game. You can't:

  • Exchange the card for Quest cash
  • Put the balance towards the purchase of another game
  • Use the card to make in-app purchases

If you experience any issues with redeeming a coupon code or gift card, please contact Meta Store Support.

Promotions and coupons cannot be combined during a purchase.

Troubleshoot issues redeeming your gift card

If you have multiple gift cards for in-app purchases, you'll need to redeem one gift card at a time. To do this, you'll need to:

  1. Redeem a gift card using the instructions above.
  2. Launch the game in your headset, then claim your purchase.
  3. Close the game and repeat these steps for each gift card.
