You can add three profiles to your device.

Before adding an additional Meta Horizon profile to your Meta Quest headset, the new profile needs to have a Meta account.

Add profiles to your Meta Quest

To add additional profiles to your Meta Quest:

Meta Quest

Press Meta button or Oculus button on your right controller to open the universal menu.
Select the clock on the left-hand side of the universal menu to open Quick settings.
Select Settings in the top right, then select Profiles.
Enter the email address of the person that you'd like to add, then select Send link.

Meta Horizon app

On your phone, open the Meta Horizon app.
Tap Menu at the top of your Horizon Feed.
Tap Devices, then select your device below Devices you own.
Below Info, tap Manage profiles.
Tap Add profile.
From here, there are two ways that you can copy the link to share it:
- Tap the link to copy it, then manually send it to the person you want to add (e.g. paste the link into a text message).
- Tap Share link, then select an app (e.g. Messenger) to paste the link into a message.

The link will expire in 15 minutes after it's been sent, so make sure that they're ready to accept the email or message.

How do additional profiles work?

Additional profiles will be able to install and use apps that they have purchased from the Meta Horizon Store, as well as apps purchased by the device owner if app sharing is turned on.

Additional profiles can save their own app progress, media files and make use of social platform features such as groups, leaderboards and achievements, as well as creating and customising their own avatar. Apps installed by additional profiles won't take up extra storage space on the device if the device owner already has the app installed.

If your device contains additional profiles, you'll be shown a profile switcher on device start up.
