Connect a compatible Bluetooth device to Meta Quest headsets
Using compatible Bluetooth accessories with Meta Quest can enrich your experience, help you feel more immersed or be more productive. Some Bluetooth accessories may include:
- Gamepads
- Keyboards
- Fitness accessories
- Bluetooth headphones
To connect a Bluetooth accessory to your Meta Quest
- Press
Meta button /
Oculus button on your controller to open the universal menu.
- Select the clock on the left side of the universal menu to open Quick settings.
- Select
Bluetooth to open Bluetooth settings.
- Select the toggle next to Bluetooth to turn it on.
- Put your Bluetooth device in pairing mode and select Connect when it appears in the list of devices.
Note: Using a Bluetooth audio device may result in delayed audio unless using a product specifically made for Meta Quest such as the Anker Wireless VR Earbuds.
Connect a Low Energy (LE) Audio accessory to your Meta Quest
Devices and accessories that support Low Energy (LE) Audio can transmit audio in a way where both the accessory and the connected device may benefit from improved battery life.
To use LE Audio mode:
- Connect a compatible accessory using the instructions above.
- In
Bluetooth settings, select the arrow next to your connected device to see more details.
- If the accessory is detected as a compatible LE Audio device, a toggle can be enabled to enable LE Audio mode.
When enabling LE Audio, there may be a few seconds of silence before audio starts again. When entering immersive games, you may hear a brief disconnection and loss of audio while the connection gets reconfigured to low latency mode. Headphones should automatically reconnect within a couple of seconds.
If you are experiencing issues (only one earbud connected or only one earbud playing audio), try turning Low Energy Audio on and off for the affected accessory.
