It's important to take care of your Meta Quest devices and clean them after use.
Clean your Meta Quest headset and controllers
- Use a dry microfibre cloth after each use. If you purchased a Meta Quest Pro headset, use the care cloth included in the box.
- Do not use chemical cleansers.
- Do not use alcohol.
- For additional cleaning, you can slightly dampen the corner of the microfibre cloth to remove surface debris. Avoid getting any moisture onto your device.
- To clean the headset lenses, start from the centre of the lens and gently wipe the lens in a circular motion moving outwards.
- To clean the facial interface, elastic head straps, head pads and silicone covers: wipe off surface debris with a microfibre cloth. For additional cleaning, remove the component(s) from the headset and hand wash with cool water and a mild liquid detergent. Rinse thoroughly to remove any soap residue. Do not submerge. Allow to air dry fully before reinstalling.
- Do not use chemical cleansers.
- Do not use alcohol.
Water and liquids
- Do not submerge your device when cleaning.
- Do not use water or other liquids while cleaning.
- Do not attempt to use your headset underwater.
Clean your Meta Quest Pro charging dock
- Use the care cloth included in the box or a dry microfibre cloth.
- Wipe away any sweat or liquid from the headset and controller charging contacts before placing them on the dock to charge.
