If you're having trouble with connecting your Meta Quest to Wi-Fi, make sure that:
- Your Wi-Fi network is working and other devices can connect to it.
- Your Wi-Fi password is entered correctly.
- You're not too far away from your Wi-Fi router.
- You're not on a Wi-Fi hot spot, such as at a hotel or airport if you're trying to do an initial setup.
If you can't connect your Meta Quest to Wi-Fi, restart your headset.
If you still can't connect your Meta Quest to Wi-Fi, try connecting to a different Wi-Fi network if one is available. If the headset connects to a different network, the issue may be with your Wi-Fi configuration.

To change the Wi-Fi network that your headset is connected to from your headset:
- Press
Meta button or
Oculus button on your right Touch controller to open the universal menu.
- Select the clock on the left-hand side of the universal menu to open Quick settings.
- Select Wi-Fi.
- Select the Wi-Fi network that you'd like to connect to and enter the password.
- Select Connect.
Updating your headset using the software update tool may also resolve your issue. If you're still having trouble with connecting to your Wi-Fi network, try performing a hard reboot by holding down the power button for 30 seconds or until you hear the device turn back on.
