Parents and guardians can create a Meta account for a child.
Parents and guardians can create and manage a Meta account for a child between the ages of 10-12 (age may vary by region).
Parents and guardians will need to log in to or create their own Meta account and Meta Horizon profile before setting up a child's account in Family Centre.
To create a Meta account for your child:
When you manage a Meta account for your child, you'll both use your email address and password to access your child's account. Log in using your email address and password, then choose to continue with your child's account.

Social features for children's Meta accounts are limited.
People can manage their own Meta account from the age of 13 (age may vary by region). Teens can find information on how they can review privacy settings and learn more about safeguards in the Teen Privacy Centre.
If you're unable to manage your child's Meta account, your child can invite another parent or guardian to manage their account instead.
To manage a Meta account for your child:
You can also access supervision settings from the Meta Horizon mobile app.
Note: Anyone else you supervise will be able to see your child in Family Centre, and your child will be able to see them.
