John Hegeman
Chief Revenue Officer
John Hegeman is Chief Revenue Officer at Meta. He joined the company in 2007 and was an engineering leader on our ads system for seven years. In 2016, he moved over to the Facebook app and spent five years leading Feed and other parts of the core product experience including Stories, notifications and integrity. In 2021, he returned to ads as the product group lead, and in 2022, he moved into the role of Head of Monetisation.
John is originally from Iowa but moved to California for university and attended Stanford, where he received his degree in maths and economics. He also serves on the board of directors for Jio Platforms Limited, Robinhood Markets Inc., and the Center for Election Science.
