Great game but infuriating controlsI've been thoroughly engaged with Triangle Strategy VR, and the transition to VR significantly enhances the experience compared to the Switch version. The immersive environment and enhanced visuals truly bring the game to life. However, the experience is marred by significant issues with the Meta 3 controllers.
Firstly, the controllers frequently lose tracking, causing the laser pointer to disappear, which disrupts gameplay. Additionally, the maps often load inside the headset, resulting in a black screen until I manually adjust them by reaching up and pulling them down into view. This is an unnecessary hassle that breaks immersion.
In-game navigation is also problematic. Even the slightest movement can cause your character to unintentionally turn in the wrong direction, which is frustrating during critical gameplay moments. Furthermore, the game unpredictably switches between pointer and non-pointer modes, adding to the confusion.
While the VR adaptation has potential, these control issues are too significant to overlook and have led me to lower my overall score for the game. The developers need to address these problems to fully realize the game's potential in VR.
