Got a room full of people with headsets and don’t know what to play? The all new Grokit Arena Mode adds local multiplayer to bring the game to your space, with everyone in it! A new way to play the familiar Grokit games, with natural movement and more room interactions. We are ripping the roof off, giving players an incredible view into the immersive environment above the players’ heads. Arena Mode games will include colocation versions of CHOMP, Dragon Blast, and the new Golem Bash. CHOMP Arena - CHOMP the fish while avoiding bombs! - Get points for chomping good fish, some fish are worth more than others. - Bad fish take points when chomped. - Crates and chests fall from above. Chomp to spawn more fish (chests spawn gold fish!) - Bombs drop and blow up after a time. Dragon Blast Arena - Shoot asteroids and eat crystals while fighting off the malevolent AI ships. - Shooting asteroids and mines gives points, as well as eating crystals. - Mine blasts take points. Can hit other players with mine blasts with careful shots. - When the AI Mothership flies overhead, it shoots an orbital laser and spawns ships. Golem Bash Arena - Gather spirit shards and fight off motes to push back the Void. - Get points by picking up Spirit Shards and dropping them off in the Soul Well in the center of the room. - Get additional Shards by interacting with objects that spawn in the room, like breaking open a crystal. - Shadow Motes sometimes spawn in the room, grab to destroy them.
