Accessing Claustral Canyon requires one to abseil or rappel down three hazardous waterfalls. Doing this without canyoneering guides is highly inadvisable. For most visitors to the region, Claustral Canyon is a mysterious place, hidden in the depths of the Australian Bush and existing only in one's imagination. This experience allows anyone to enter and explore a large section of the canyon with complete freedom. You can go right close to the pools and waterfalls, experience the magnificent sun shafts that come down through the towering ferns from above, and learn about all the challenges we faced with the humid and damp conditions as well as the tiger snakes.
