The GulagXR Virtual Tour takes visitors to the remains of a Gulag labour camp in remote Siberia. It will then take the visitor back to the days of a working Gulag labour camp and give a realistic insight into the inhumane conditions of the camps and snippets of prisoners' lives compiled from authentic memories. Thanks to the strong sense of presence in the virtual simulation, the visitor is able to better feel the atmosphere, the confinement and the harshness of the environment.
The virtual tour through the Gulag camp is based on the results of a unique field research and documentation of the remains of the Gulag labour camps in Siberia, carried out by Gulag.cz association in 2009 and 2013.
