They say something has been awoken in the old woods... Obscura is a different take on atmospheric horror, that immerses you in an endless circle of fear. Face a relentless and almost invisible entity. Keep eyes and ears on the creepy environment with several tools at your disposal. Use them to prepare your mind for what's to come. Look, listen and pray it doesn't enter your reality. This puristic horror shocker does not rely on movement or violence and is made to be experienced multiple times, with fully randomized and unpredictable events. Come back if you dare and you may see something new. But beware, each visit will draw you more and more into the dark... Experience it alone or together with your friends and watch them shiver and scream!

Repetitive
Very repetitive, it was fun the first 2 scenarios and the jumpscares but then became boring and monotonous; I give 1 star for the cool graphics and 1 star for the jumpscares; not worth the ten dollars.

So Boring!!!
I've played a lot of VR titles, but this one is the most boring one I've played. The pacing is terrible! Yes, it has some jump scares, but it's just the same thing over and over. I kept playing hoping that I would reach the end and give me an excuse to uninstall it, but after an hour of pure boredom I couldn't take it anymore, I had to quit. I decided to go on Youtube to look up the ending and SURPRISE! There is no ending! I love the horror genre and I would like to see more VR titles, so I hate giving this one a bad review, but it's just so bad! I don't mind paying 5 bucks for a short well-paced scary title. I spend much more than that going to haunted attractions during Halloween. A short title is great for parties and to show friends that don't have VR. Crowe is only about 15 minutes long (not a horror game) but it's really good. It's well paced and a beautiful game. I guess for haunted horror walkthroughs we'll have to be content with Emily Wants to Play and Ghost Town Mine Ride & Shootin Gallery for the time being. Both are good by the way.

Might be worth it for $5...
I hate leaving bad reviews, but this one was really a letdown. If you're planning on playing this by yourself, here's what you should expect: 1) 15 minutes of boredom/frustration trying to figure out what to do, while you stand in one spot and keep looking all around while nothing really happens 2) Once you figure out what to do, a very repetitive interaction that you quickly wish you could just skip 3) A handful of mildly scary events that become predictable and monotonous after the second or third time you see them That's all there is to this experience. Rinse and repeat. Over and over. I could see this probably being fun in a group of friends or a party setting, where you have your little scare and then hand it off to the next person, but if you're buying this for yourself and looking for a good VR horror experience, please keep looking. On the plus side, the visuals are nice, and the only thing keeping me from giving it 1 star. But you don't get to move around, just look in circles, so it's not much of a redeeming feature.

Sorry to hear you could not enjoy the experience. The description says "does no rely on movement".

5 stars only at 5 dollars
Best graphics to date, creapy atmosphere, sound is very good, not much interractivity very repetitive. It's not a game but an experience. It took me 20 minutes to figure out what to do. You have to point the sensing object in the right direction to trigger events. Played for an hour, but should have stopped after 30 minutes.
