Beautiful Graphics, OK Gameplay
I purchased this game when it was on sale for $10 and feel I easily got my money's worth. The graphics and sound are top notch; this is one of the better looking games I've played on my Rift S and the first person sense of presence is well done. Control is very good with most of the requirements covered; you have access to teleport or free locomotion as well as snap or smooth turning. Walking speed was adequate but it would have been nice if I could have moved a little faster. The game also has sliders for various sound options (dialog, music, sound effects, etc.) which was welcome and came in handy. Gameplay consists of light puzzle solving and relatively simple combat. None of the puzzles were particularly difficult though they did make nice use of your special abilities; combat with your sword was definitely of the waggle variety and the bow & arrow worked well enough but really didn't need to be used too often. Your special abilities let you manipulate objects or possess undead enemies; both are fun to use and well integrated into the game but it would have been nice if you got to use them more often. The game was largely stable though it did freeze on me once and I had to reload my most recent save a couple of times as I mysteriously got stuck in place and could not move. Luckily, the checkpoint system is quite generous so there is very little backtracking if you do have a freezeup or get killed. It took me about 4 hours to finish the game and I really took my time, trying to take in its atmosphere and explore every corner. Overall I enjoyed my time with it and my rating is based largely on how it successfully pulled me into its world. The game does hold your hand quite a bit and the ending could have been a bit better. It's very much a lightweight adventure but given the added immersion of VR that's perfectly OK for me. At $10-$15 I think it's easily a worthwhile purchase if the subject matter interests you; at $20 YMMV.

sure why not
I havent beaten it yet, but mostly so far its been pretty fun, but the combat is more or less stupid, due to the fact that the sword in my hand is facing directly up, so trying to hit my enemies makes me point my wrist down as far as i can for the blade to even touch enemies, other than that its cool.

No problems
No glitches or issues. Story is pretty decent. Gameplay is fun. However price is horrible. No replay value, 3 hours-ish is what youll get out of this.
