The creepy Mr. Peterson has been scaring Hello Neighbor fans for years across a number of games, books, and cartoons. And now, the Neighbor and his house of secrets are leaping into VR for the first time with Hello Neighbor: Search and Rescue, which is coming to Meta Quest 2 + Pro on May 25 for $29.99 USD. The family-friendly horror game stars a new group of kids as they try to break into the Neighbor’s house to save their friend. Pre-order the game now to receive 10% off the purchase price!
With one of their own imprisoned in the Neighbor’s basement, the Rescue Squad have to use their unique abilities to foil the numerous puzzles and contraptions inside the house. The Detective has a magnifying glass that can discover hidden clues, the Scout can shoot objects with a slingshot, and the Inventor has a map and pin board that’ll help you plan your routes. You can switch between the five kids at any time and must use a combination of their abilities to solve some of the more complex puzzles.
As in past Hello Neighbor games, Mr. Peterson’s house is a spooky labyrinth, filled with obstacles and hidden passages that were clearly built to keep people from snooping inside. It’s up to you on how you want to sneak into his house: There are multiple ways to approach it thanks to the characters’ different skill sets. But be sure to stay quiet and keep a low profile unless you want to feel the full wrath of Mr. Peterson.
In addition to the house’s mysteries, you’ll witness nightmare sequences that help flesh out the Hello Neighbor universe. More revelations await you in Hello Neighbor: Search and Rescue, and if you think you’re brave enough to help uncover the truth, you can pre-order the game today on the Meta Quest Store and lock in your 10% discount.
