A light you can't miss
Each pair of our AI glasses has a bright white light called a capture LED that blinks to signify when content is being captured for your gallery.
Designed to be noticed.
From day 1, the capture LED light was designed solely to let others know that you are capturing content. We conducted significant testing to find the right level of brightness so that the light is visible even during the day.
Here's how it works:
When you're capturing a photo on Meta AI glasses for your gallery, the capture LED light blinks briefly. When capturing video, it continues to blink for as long as you are recording.
No tolerance for tampering.
If the glasses detect that the capture LED light was covered, physically tampered with or destroyed, they'll automatically disable the camera. It’s that simple.
