Delete your Meta account
To delete your Meta account information:
- Go to auth.meta.com/settings and log in using your Meta account information.
- Click DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT.
- Re-enter your password, then click DELETE YOUR DATA to confirm.
When you delete your Meta account, you won’t be able to use your Meta Quest device or access any Meta Quest services. It may take up to 90 days for your Meta account data to be deleted.
Some of your information requires you to delete it separately. For example, your communications with Meta Store Support can be deleted through your Zendesk account if you created one, or from the email account you used to communicate with Meta Store Support. If you're a Meta Quest developer with a published app, you'll need to contact developer relations if you intend to remove your apps from the store prior to deleting your organization. Otherwise, developers can reach out to Developer Support. Meta may still retain certain data to comply with local laws, such as sales receipts to comply with local tax laws.
Please keep in mind that once your account has been deleted you won't be able to reactivate it or retrieve anything you've added, including:
- All of your Meta Quest apps and in-app purchases;
- Your Meta Quest app achievements;
- Your Horizon followers and followers list;
- Any history of interactions with other users on the Meta Quest platform;
- Any content you created on the Meta Quest platform.
You also will no longer be able to return any apps and will lose any existing Store credits.
If you decide that you no longer wish to delete your account, you can cancel your deletion request within 30 days.
To cancel your deletion, you will need to contact Meta Store Support.
