How to stream Spotify on Ray-Ban Meta glasses
Spotify on Ray-Ban Meta glasses is currently available in English in select regions.
You can stream Spotify from your phone to your glasses, and control audio playback using touchpad controls and Meta AI.
To connect Spotify to your glasses:
in the bottom left.
Device settings.
You can also assign Spotify as your default when you search for audio with your voice from Connected apps by tapping Assign defaults.
Touchpad controls
You can use the following gestures on the touchpad to control audio playback. The touchpad is located along the side of the right glasses arm.
- Tap once to pause or play audio.
- Swipe forward to turn the volume up.
- Swipe back to turn the volume down.
- Tap and hold to play a recommendation from Spotify.
- Note: Tap and hold must be assigned to Spotify by going to Gestures in Device settings and tapping Touchpad.
Meta AI
If you’ve enabled Meta AI in Meta View, you can use your voice to control playback and search Spotify by saying the following phrases.
- “Hey Meta, play Spotify.”
- “Hey Meta, pause.”
- “Hey Meta, skip.”
- “Hey Meta, volume up”, “Hey Meta, volume down.”
- “Hey Meta, play… (name any song, album, artist, playlist or station).”
Note: When you close your glasses, audio streaming will be paused. When you reopen the glasses, they will reconnect to your audio source via Bluetooth.
