Shazam on AI glasses is currently available in English in select regions.

You can identify nearby music hands-free with Shazam on AI glasses.

How to set up Shazam on AI glasses

To connect Shazam to your glasses:

  1. From the Meta AI mobile app, tap Glasses in the top right.
  2. Tap Device settings.
    • If you have multiple devices paired with the Meta AI mobile app, swipe left or right to select the device you want to adjust settings for before tapping Device settings.
  3. Tap App connections.
  4. Tap Shazam.
  5. Tap Connect Shazam.

How to use Shazam on AI glasses

Once you’ve connected Shazam to your glasses, you can use the following voice commands to identify music around you:

  • “Hey Meta, use Shazam.”
  • "Hey Meta, what’s this song?”

Your glasses will announce your Shazam results. You can also see your Shazam results and a log of your voice commands by tapping in the top left of the Meta AI mobile app and scrolling down to Chats.

When you make a Shazam request on AI glasses, audio is sent to Shazam, which processes it to identify music as described in Shazam terms.
