  • Swipe forward to turn the volume up.
  • Swipe back to turn the volume down.
  • Tap once to pause or play audio.
  • Double tap to skip forward.
  • Triple tap to skip back.

How to control audio using Meta AI

Say "Hey Meta," then use these voice commands to control audio:

  • "Pause."
  • "Resume."
  • "Next."
  • "Skip."
  • "Play."
  • "Volume up."
  • "Volume down."
  • "Mute."
  • "Unmute."

Adaptive volume

Adaptive volume will automatically adjust the volume on your glasses based on the surrounding environmental noise levels. Volume will increase in response to environmental noise and decrease in quieter settings.

To turn on adaptive volume:

  1. From the Meta AI mobile app, tap Glasses in the top right.
  2. Tap Device settings.
    • If you have multiple devices paired with the Meta AI mobile app, swipe left or right to select the device you want to adjust settings for before tapping Device settings.
  3. Tap Audio.
  4. Tap the toggle next to Adaptive volume.
