Get walking directions on Meta Ray-Ban Display
With navigation on your Meta Ray-Ban Display , you can get audio turn-by-turn walking directions to help you navigate to nearby places. Follow these steps to use navigation on your glasses:
- From the display home, swipe down and select Maps.
- From here, you can select Dictation Search to say the name of a place you want to navigate to, or swipe right to select Cafes, Restaurants, Parks, or Attractions to find nearby spots on the map.
- Once you’ve selected a location, select Start to begin navigation.
- You can also select Call to call a location, or select Share to Phone to send the location to your phone’s navigation app.
- While navigating, you can select
Compass to switch the map orientation between always facing north, or always rotating toward the direction you are physically facing.
- You can also select Mute to mute audio directions or select End to end navigation.
Use voice commands for navigation
- “Hey Meta, find restaurants near me.”
- “Hey Meta, navigate me to [location].”
Share a location from your phone to Meta Ray-Ban Display
You can share a location you’d like to walk to from your phone’s mapping app to your glasses to get turn-by-turn directions on your glasses’ display.
- Open your phone mapping app and find a location you’d like to walk to.
- Tap Share.
- Select Meta AI from the list of applications.
- Navigation will start on your connected Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses.

- When you enable location permissions, the Meta AI mobile app uses your location to enhance your experience and make features like local search and pedestrian navigation work.
- Location permissions for the Meta AI mobile app must be set to Always on/Allow all the time and Precise from your phone’s app settings in order to use local search and navigation.
- You can manage location permissions anytime in your phone’s settings.
- Your location may be shared with select partners to provide navigation services.
