How to factory reset your glasses

A factory reset will delete all captures on your glasses and will require you to unpair and then re-pair your glasses with the Meta AI mobile app. For Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses, see instructions in the next tab.

To factory reset your glasses:

  1. Make sure your glasses are out of their case, charged and powered on.
  2. Fold both glasses arms closed.
  3. With the arms folded, press the capture button rapidly 5 times. The LED will turn orange.
  4. Press and hold the capture button. Release when the LED starts flashing.

How to factory reset your charging case

If you're experiencing issues using your charging case, a factory reset might help. You can also use these steps for Meta Ray-Ban Display charging cases (see instructions in the next tab for details).

To factory reset your charging case:

  1. Remove your glasses from the case.
  2. Press and hold the button on the back of the case for more than 16 seconds to factory reset the case.
