Set up live translation for the first time

When you're connected to Wi-Fi, most languages are ready to use right away. Choose your languages in the Meta AI app and tap Start to begin.

You will hear an announcement through your glasses confirming that live translation has begun.

How live translation works

The person can also listen to the translation by tapping the speaker icon in the app.

Stop live translation

To end your translation session, use one of these methods:

  1. Voice command: Say "Hey Meta, stop live translation".
  2. Tap and hold the touchpad on your glasses.
  3. Tap Glasses then Stop in the Meta AI app.

Note: Live translation on Meta Ray-Ban Display currently supports English, French, Italian, and Spanish. Support for additional languages will be rolling out soon.
