Export a copy of your Meta AI and AI glasses device information

The Meta AI and Vibes apps and websites are not yet available everywhere. If they are available for you, some features may not yet be available in your area.

If you want a copy of your information from your Meta AI account, you can request an export of your information in a machine readable HTML or JSON format.

The report will include your information from the:

  • Meta AI app
  • Meta.ai website
  • Vibes app
  • Meta AI glasses

You’ll need access to the email address attached to your Meta account or your account password to request this information.

Export a copy of your information from Accounts Center to a device

  1. In the Meta AI app, tap Menu in the top left.
  2. Tap Settings in the bottom left, then tap Data & privacy.
  3. Tap Manage your information, then tap Download your information.
  4. Tap Export your information.
  5. Tap Create export.
  6. Select the profile you’d like to export information from.
  7. Tap Next.
  8. Select Export to device.
  9. From here, you can choose specific information to export, select a date range, format, the notification email and media quality.
  10. Once you have customized your export, tap Start export.

Export a copy of your information from Accounts Center to an external service

  1. In the Meta AI app, tap Menu in the top left.
  2. Tap Settings in the bottom left, then tap Data & privacy.
  3. Tap Manage your information, then tap Download your information.
  4. Tap Export your information.
  5. Tap Create export.
  6. Select the profile you’d like to export information from.
  7. Tap Next.
  8. Select Export to external service.
  9. Choose an external service to export your information to and tap Next.
  10. You will need to connect to the external service you’ve selected.
  11. Choose how often you want to export and tap Next.
  12. Enter your profile password and tap Next.
  13. From here, you can customize your export, choose your notification email and format.
  14. Once you have customized your export, tap Start export.

Export a copy of your information from Accounts Center to a device

  1. In the Vibes app, tap Profile in the bottom right.
  2. Tap Settings in the top right, then tap Data & privacy.
  3. Tap Manage your information, then tap Download your information.
  4. Tap Create export.
  5. Select the profile you’d like to export information from.
  6. Tap Next.
  7. Select Export to device.
  8. From here, you can choose specific information to export, select a date range, format, the notification email and media quality.

Export a copy of your information from Accounts Center to an external service

  1. In the Vibes app, tap Profile in the bottom right.
  2. Tap Settings in the top right, then tap Data & privacy.
  3. Tap Manage your information, then tap Download your information.
  4. Tap Create export.
  5. Select the profile you’d like to export information from.
  6. Tap Next.
  7. Select Export to external service.
  8. Choose an external service to export your information to and tap Next.
  9. You will need to connect to the external service you’ve selected.
  10. Choose how often you want to export and tap Next.
  11. Enter your profile password and tap Next.
  12. From here, you can customize your export, choose your notification email and format.
  13. Once you have customized your export, tap Start export.

  1. Go to www.meta.ai and click your profile picture in the bottom left.
  2. Click Settings, then click Data & privacy.
  3. Click Manage your information, then click Download your information.
  4. Click Create export.
  5. Select the profile you’d like to export information from.
  6. Select Export to device.
  7. From here, you can choose specific information to export, select a date range, format, the notification email and media quality.
  8. Once you have customized your export, tap Start export.

Export a copy of your information from Accounts Center to an external service

  1. Go to www.meta.ai and click your profile picture in the bottom left.
  2. Click Settings, then click Data & privacy.
  3. Click Manage your information, then click Download your information.
  4. Click Create export.
  5. Select the profile you’d like to export information from.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Select Export to external service.
  8. Choose an external service to export your information to and click Next.
  9. Choose how often you want to export and click Next.
  10. Click Connect. You will need to connect to the external service you’ve selected.
  11. You may need to enter the password for the profile you selected and click Next.
  12. From here, you can customize your export, choose your notification email and format.
  13. Once you have customized your export, click Start export.

Export a copy of your information from Accounts Center to a device

  1. Go to www.meta.ai, then tap Menu in upper left.
  2. Tap your profile picture in the lower left.
  3. Tap Settings, then tap Data & privacy.
  4. Under Manage your information, tap Download your information.
  5. Tap Create export.
  6. Select the profile you’d like to export information from.
  7. Select Export to device.
  8. From here, you can choose specific information to export, select a date range, format, the notification email and media quality.
  9. Once you have customized your export, click Start export.

Export a copy of your information from Accounts Center to a device

  1. Go to www.meta.ai, then tap Menu in upper left.
  2. Tap your profile picture in the lower left.
  3. Tap Settings, then tap Data & privacy.
  4. Tap Manage your information, then tap Download your information.
  5. Tap Create export.
  6. Select the profile you’d like to export information from.
  7. Tap Next.
  8. Select Export to external service.
  9. Choose an external service to export your information to and tap Next.
  10. You will need to connect to the external service you’ve selected.
  11. Choose how often you want to export and tap Next.
  12. Enter your profile password and tap Next.
  13. From here, you can customize your export, choose your notification email and format.
  14. Once you have customized your export, tap Start export.

When your export is ready, you’ll have 4 days to download your information in the Available downloads section in the Export your information tool in Accounts Center. You can also delete your export or view past file requests in the Past activity section.

Note: It may take up to 30 days for us to email you a download link. Your file won’t include content that you’ve deleted from your Meta AI account.
