Import your Meta.ai data to the new Meta.ai experience

The Meta.ai website is not yet available for everyone. If the Meta.ai website is available for you, some features may not yet be available in your area.

The Meta.ai experience has been updated. If you used the classic Meta.ai, you’ll be able to see your prompt history in the new experience and share prompts publicly with other people on Meta.ai and the Meta AI app.

Some data will be imported automatically, but if you used Meta.ai with multiple accounts connected to the same Accounts Center, you’ll need to import some of them separately.

To import your Meta.ai data

  1. Go to www.meta.ai and click Settings in the top left.
  2. Click Settings, then click Data & privacy.
  3. Click Manage your information.
  4. Click Import history from classic Meta.ai.
  5. Click Import next to each account you’d like to import data from.

Note: Saved responses and shared links from the classic Meta.ai experience are no longer available on the new Meta.ai. You’ll be able to download your previously saved items after you log into the new Meta.ai experience, but any links you’ve shared will stop working.

To download your saved responses

  1. Go to www.meta.ai and click Settings in the top left.
  2. Click Settings, then click Data & privacy.
  3. Click Manage your information.
  4. Click Download your information, then click Download.

If you don't log into the new Meta.ai experience by August 14th, 2025, your Meta.ai prompt history, saved responses and shared links will be deleted.
