The numbers printed on your device’s box or packaging are different from the serial number found on the device itself. If you need your device’s serial number for a support request, follow the instructions provided on this page to locate it. Ignore any numbers found on the box or packaging, as they are not the device’s serial number.
Meta Quest headsets and Touch controllers all have unique 14-digit serial numbers. If you contact Meta Store Support, you'll likely be asked to provide your serial number so that the support agent can properly identify your device.
To locate the serial number for your Meta Quest headset or controllers, please select your device below and follow the instructions.

To locate the serial number for your headset and controllers:
- Meta.com: You can find the serial number for your Meta Quest 3 or Meta Quest 3S by logging into Meta.com and visiting https://auth.meta.com/settings/my/devices/. The serial number is listed below your device model name.
- Headset: The headset serial number is printed on the inside of the left headset arm. Gently pivot the headset arm upward away from the headset to expose the serial number.
- Touch Plus controllers: Remove the battery door from your Touch Plus controller, then remove the battery. Your controller serial number will be on the inside of the controller under the battery below the QR code.
