Updates to terms and privacy policies in the UK
Starting 25 April 2023, the service provider for the UK will change from Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., an EU-based company, to Meta Platforms, Inc. We’re making this change because the UK has left the EU.
What's changing
- Meta Platforms, Inc., a US-based company, will provide you with Meta Products, like Facebook, Instagram and Messenger.
- It will also become responsible for your information and for complying with UK GDPR.
What's staying the same
- There will be no change to our Products or the services you receive.
- Your privacy settings will stay the same.
- Your information will still be protected by UK data protection and privacy laws.
