Connect Bluetooth devices to your Meta Portal
Using Bluetooth, you can pair headphones to your Meta Portal or use Meta Portal as a speaker. Before connecting a Bluetooth device to your Meta Portal, make sure your device has Bluetooth turned on and is in pairing or discoverability mode.
To connect a Bluetooth device to your Meta Portal:
- From Apps, tap Settings .
- Tap General.
- Tap Bluetooth.
- Tap the toggle next to Bluetooth to turn Bluetooth discoverability on.
- Tap Pair Device.
- Select your Bluetooth device from the Available Devices list on your Meta Portal or select your Meta Portal from the Bluetooth settings on your device to pair the device.
To adjust Bluetooth settings:
- Swipe up from the bottom of your Meta Portal display to view Quick Controls.
- Tap the Bluetooth icon.
To mute a Bluetooth device when it is connected to your Meta Portal:
If you have a Bluetooth headset connected to Meta Portal, muting your Meta Portal built-in microphone will also mute your Bluetooth headset. Learn how to mute your Meta Portal.
Note: The headset microphone does not listen for “Hey Portal” commands. Your Meta Portal will only respond to “Hey Portal” voice commands through your Meta Portal's built-in microphone.
