How to use fantastical avatars in Worlds

Fantastical avatars are a new type of avatars that allow users to embody something that’s beyond their physical traits in Worlds. You can unlock fantastical avatars by completing various quests found in the Meta Quest avatar menu.
You can also redeem earned points you have accumulated to use fantastical avatars. Points can be earned by participating in events, completing quests, engaging with the community worlds. Fantastical avatars will remain in your backpack permanently unless you delete them.
To find your fantastical avatar on Meta Quest:
- From Worlds, press
Menu button on your left Touch controller.
- Select
on the left.
- Choose the new avatar you want to become from the options available. If variant options are available, they'll appear below the avatar in your backpack.
- If you want to switch back to your primary avatar, navigate to your backpack to select it again.
Most fantastical avatars can be used across Worlds. Some avatars are exclusive to specific worlds, designed to enhance in-world experience and provide special abilities tailored to the world’s unique theme and play.
