System Requirements
The minimum OS requirements for phones to run the Meta Horizon mobile app are:
- Apple iOS 15.1 or later
- Android 5.0 or later
Note: The Meta Horizon mobile app may not work on tablets or other devices.
Additional Notes
- Your phone must be connected to Wi-Fi and have Bluetooth turned on to use the Meta Horizon mobile app to set up your Meta Quest.
- If you install the Meta Horizon mobile app on an unsupported device, you may experience issues setting up your headset.
- After completing the initial activation of your headset using the Meta Horizon mobile app, you'll be able to finish setting up your headset in VR.
- This app was formerly named the Oculus app and the Meta Quest app.
