A passcode creates an extra layer of security for your Meta Horizon profile on your headset. It works only on your headset and is made up of 4-16 digits.

You can use your passcode to prevent others from accessing your profile, saved passwords and locked apps on your headset.

Your passcode is different from your Store PIN, which is used for Meta Horizon Store purchases.

If you factory reset your headset, your passcode will be erased. For security after a factory reset, you'll need to create a passcode again.
