How to use and manage volume controls on Meta Quest

Advanced volume controls allow you to control app or media volume and call volume separate from one another. These volume controls give you the ability to choose how loud or quiet you want your experiences to be.

To manage your volume:

  1. Press Meta button or Oculus button on your right Touch controller to open the Navigator.
  2. Select Quick controls from the System bar.
  3. From here, you’ll see the volume control slider that adjusts your main volume.
  4. Move the slider to adjust App and media volume and Call volume.

Your app and media volume may be adjusted as you change apps within the headset.

Note: The physical volume control on your headset only controls the main volume.
