Calendar app
The Calendar app for Quest/Horizon OS helps you keep track of your schedules through integrations with Google and Outlook Calendars. Calendar will also display any Meta Horizon Worlds events you subscribe to. You can join events and meetings directly from Calendar.
Download Calendar
Calendar is automatically available in your library. When it is first selected, it will download to your headset.
Calendar settings
To access Calendar settings:
- From Library, open the Calendar app.
- In the top-right, select
Settings.
From here you can connect an external calendar (see below), switch between Day and Agenda view, or filter your calendar to only see Quest events (e.g. Horizon Events).
Moving between days
View different days by dragging the calendar sheet or using the joystick on your controller. Move left (for past days) or right (for future days).
Connect Google or Outlook calendar
To connect a Google or Outlook calendar:
- From the Library, open the Calendar app.
- In the top-right, select
- Select Connect your calendar.
- Select either Connect Google Calendar or Connect Outlook Calendar.
- You are asked to go to the Google or Microsoft website and enter a unique code (shown in your headset) to connect your calendar. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Events from the connected calendar will now be available in the Horizon Calendar app. Select upcoming events to see attendees, agendas and other details.
Horizon events
Any Horizon Worlds event that you mark yourself as Interested in will be automatically added to your calendar. You’ll receive a notification to remind you of upcoming events.
