How to use Navigator on Meta Quest

Navigator brings your apps, friends, controls, and more together in one place, making it simple to move between everything you need in VR. To invoke the Navigator by pressing the Oculus button / Meta button
on your right Touch controller.
Navigator features
The bottom row of the Navigator provides access to key system features:
- You: Select your avatar image to access the You page where you can select how you want to appear in the metaverse and edit your avatar.
- Home world: Your current location is indicated with an image. By default you are in a home world that can either be Passthrough or Loft. This is where you’ll start and return to each time you use VR.
- App: When you’re in an app, the home world image is replaced by the specific app icon. Selecting it provides additional options, such as reporting abuse and the option to quit and return home.
- Library: Find, launch, download and manage all your apps.
- People: Connect with friends, chat, call and manage your social connections
- Quick controls: A menu with controls such as camera, brightness, volume, some privacy settings and more. You can also access your settings from the left menu, where you will find more customization options.
- Notifications: View notifications from apps, friends and more.
Grid view
- Left menu: Each tab in the Navigator features a left-hand menu with search and other options, such as links to Search, Store, Settings and your Chats. The available options will vary depending on the tab you’re viewing.
- See more options: Press and hold on an app, or person in the grid view to see options like pinning and more.
- Global Search: A centralized search that pulls results from across Navigator, Store, Settings and other apps.
Manage your windows
- To show or hide your windows, double-tap the Oculus button
/ Meta button
on your right Touch controller.
