Use Files on Meta Quest

Files is a file manager app that allows you to access, browse, manage, share, and organize the files located on your Meta Quest headset. Screenshots and videos you take from your headset are also stored here.
To open Files:
- Bring up your universal menu by pressing
Meta button /
Oculus button on your right Touch controller.
- Select
App library to open your library.
- Select Files to launch the app.
To share files:
- From Files, navigate to the file you want to share.
Select
Options on the file you want to share.
- Select the contact you want to share with, or select the platform where you want to share the file.
To delete files:
- From Files, navigate to the file you want to delete.
- Select
- Select Delete again to confirm.
If you have media syncing turned on, select Delete and Unsync to delete the file from your headset and your Meta Horizon mobile app.
File Types
Files recognizes the following file types:
- .M4V .MOV .MP4 .MPG
- .JPG .PNG
- .TXT
- .DOC .DOCX
- .KEY .PPT .PPS .PPTX
