Scan a QR code with Meta Quest 3 to connect to Wi-Fi during device setup

You can connect your Meta Quest 3 or 3S to Wi-Fi during device setup by scanning a QR code from the Meta Horizon mobile app. At the Choose how to connect to Wi-Fi screen, select Use a QR code from the Meta Horizon mobile app.

For best results when scanning a QR from your phone with your headset, be sure to hold the phone at eye level, following the example below.

Note: Wi-Fi QR codes from the Meta Horizon mobile app do not currently support semicolons in Wi-Fi network names and passwords. If your Wi-Fi details contain a semicolon, be sure to select Enter Wi-Fi details on your headset during device setup to connect your headset to Wi-Fi.

Note: Currently, Meta Quest 3 can only scan Wi-Fi QR codes from the Meta Horizon mobile app. Attempts to scan other QR codes will not work at this time.
