How to use instant replay on worlds in Meta Horizon
Instant replay is a feature that world creators can set up in their world to automatically record interesting moments or key achievements from a player’s first-person point of view. Worlds with this feature enabled will have a camera icon on the world page. You’ll also receive an inbox notification upon entering a world where instant replay is being used.
When instant replay captures a moment, a popup notification will appear and an inbox notification will be sent to you. You’ll receive an inbox notification reminder when a previously captured video is set to expire in three days.
After instant replay captures a moment, videos will be stored in the For review tab of your Worlds media gallery for seven days. From the For review tab, you can view all your recent replays and delete or save them. When you save a replay you can share the video with your friends, to social media or to Worlds.
View instant replays on Meta Quest
To view your instant replays on Meta Quest:
- Open your Worlds menu and select My media.
- Select the replay that you want to view then select Save or Delete.
Turn isntant replay on or off
To turn instant replay on or off:
- Open your worlds menu, then select Settings.
- Select General.
- Scroll down to Instant replay and select On or Off.
