This video explains the standard replacement process. Select Advanced replacement process below to learn how that process works.

You can use the online form to start a replacement request for your Meta Quest headset or you can contact Meta Store Support.

If you qualify for a replacement under Meta's Limited Warranty, you can choose Advanced replacement to receive your replacement device sooner. You can also choose our standard replacement process.

If you select Advanced replacement, an in-stock replacement device will ship as soon as possible.

We’ll place a temporary hold on your credit card (taxes may apply). This covers the cost of the replacement if your original device isn’t returned within 30 days or under warranty. Terms and conditions apply.

To check if your device is in warranty, go to https://www.meta.com/my/devices/.

You have 30 days to return your device.

To return your device:

  1. Return only the device we have listed. We’ll also send you a return merchandise authorization (RMA) email with the name and serial number of the product you should return.
    • The email will also include printable shipping labels, and instructions for preparing, packaging and shipping your device.
  2. Before you ship your device, please check the serial number to make sure you return the right device. Learn how to find device serial numbers.
    • Only send back the device listed in the What to return section of the RMA email.
    • If the item listed in the email is not a specific component (example: headset, controllers), then you need to send back the entire Meta Quest device kit with all of the parts it came with. If you forget to include a part, it could delay your replacement and cost you a fee.
  3. Perform a factory reset.
  4. Prepare and package your device for return. Place the product box into the original delivery box that it came in. If you no longer have it, use a similar size box.
    • Include protective cushioning material, such as bubble wrap, crumpled newspaper or packaging peanuts to prevent damage.
  5. Print and use the pre-paid shipping labels we sent you. If any of the labels are in color, please make sure they are printed in color.
  6. Send your device using the shipping labels we sent you. Drop your return off at the nearest drop-off location for the courier stated on your return label.

Keep in mind:

  • We’ll notify you when your replacement ships.
  • Shipping and delivery times may vary based on your region, holidays and weather conditions.

If you select standard replacement, a replacement device will ship once we receive the returned defective device.
