If your child is 10-12 years old (age may vary by region) with a Meta account that's managed by you, you can remove approved contacts at any time. Your child can also remove approved contacts.
Keep in mind that:
- If you or your child removes an approved contact, the person won’t be able to chat with, call, invite or join your child in an app or destination.
- If you or your child removes an approved contact who your child follows, your child will continue to follow that person, unless your child unfollows them.
- If you or your child removes an approved contact who follows your child, the person will continue to follow your child, unless your child removes them as a follower.
- If your child removes a follower who’s also an approved contact, the person will no longer follow your child or be an approved contact.
