How to Mute and unmute your microphone on Meta Quest

To turn your microphone on or off on Meta Quest:

  1. Press Meta button or Oculus button on your right controller to open the Navigator.
  2. Select Quick controls.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Select Audio.
  5. Select the toggle next to Mute microphone.

Note: If you're using unsupported third party headset accessories, such as covers or stickers, you may experience issues with headset audio and your microphone. If this happens, we recommend removing the unsupported accessory to see if that resolves the issue.
